Inspiration
It came from one of my previous game dev projects.
What it does
As I said before, SleepScoreRT compares your performance to a drift diffusion model that was implemented, and the comparison is graphed below the actual test. In addition, the actual sleep score given is combination of three factors: coefficient of variation, error rate, and mean reaction time.
How we built it
I mainly reused code from a previous game developing project, and most of the logic was there before. I did change some things to turn it into the project it is currently. Also, to just add an overall polish to the code and fix some debugging errors, I used Claude AI. I also had the help of some mentors and family
Challenges we ran into
There were some debugging errors that came with changing some of the UI, but the logic wasn't too hard to implement. Every time I encountered a critical error I couldn't debug, I usually asked Claude to help me diagnose the problem. If that didn't work, I asked a family member and they were able to help.
What's next for SleepScore RT
I will probably move on to other projects, but I may potentially talk to some doctors (neurologists and sleep specialists) about this project to get their input/feedback on what I can ahttps://youtu.be/6RtX9fHu8AA?si=llOwZsycAH2EP6Bodd that would be useful to patients. I may scale if I come up with some other useful, novel features.
