Inspiration

Our team wanted to create an website that we could personally use to study multiple AP Exams without the need of taking a course that our school didn't offer.

What it does

The application integrates videos, quizzing and even comprehensive questioning for the student to quickly learn and progress in preparing for the AP Exam

How we built it

By using a local LLM, React.js and Node.js, we are able to create it in a short amount of time with modulization to quickly build dynamic applications and easily create more AP classes to study.

Challenges we ran into

None of our members knew how to use a local LLM, or React.js which led to us quickly learning and using the tools to help us create the app. We had countless bugs with React and it's unique coding style but got over every hump.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Integration of an assistant teacher so that you do not have to ask someone else. This allows the student to very easily and quickly ask questions about topics that they are unsure of.

What we learned

We learned how to integrate multiple applications together, how to use React.js, how to use local LLMS and how to quickly design, prototype and push to a server.

What's next for SLAPs

We are going to develop a login system for the student to keep track of their progress, create a mobile app for push notifications, reminding you on a schedule the student choices to self study. Rewards for completing certain sections.
