Inspiration

We all have been through a situation where we had to work hard for writing long essays, cover letters and/or linkedin posts. What if this process can be done within seconds instead of writing long prompts yourself?

What it does

Just sign up and open the templates for your specific tasks and type the topic name or a little description, click submit and done.

How we built it

I built it using Next.js for the production and Gemini API 1.5 Flash for it's functionality. Wrote prewritten prompts for every template for the users to work with.

Challenges we ran into

Initially I couldn't get as many users but then a bit of UI improvement and making the project open source made Slanine reach 300+ users in no time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Achieving an amazing website performance, with low TBT and LCP along with a total of 10+ stars on its github repository and 300+ uses.

What we learned

I learnt functionality of Gemini and a bunch of prompts created taught me prompt engineering to a good extent. Also learnt fundamentals of Web development while climbing up the ladder to learn Frameworks like Next.js.
