The project displays the word "meme"

How we built it

I used react and javascript

Challenges we ran into

I faced challenges implementing the database of slangs. I found a webpage with slang words and their meaning @ axis, but wasn't sure if I should just copy and paste them in and hard code it. I also thought about scraping it off the website but I think that is against vercel's conditions of use. I also struggled making the backend and frontend connect after hosting.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of being able to connect the frontend and backend of my project locally.

What we learned

I learned more about how to code and deploying frontend and backend servers

What's next for Slang Meme

Hopefully I could get it to be a continuous website that keeps up with the times
