The Hex-a-thon's focus on AI-powered data exploration + prediction market datasets sparked this unique fusion of slang velocity tracking with Kalshi API odds for unprecedented cultural diplomacy insights.

What it does

SlangSight analyzes real-time slang evolution across Twitter/X, TikTok trends, and Reddit to forecast global cultural tensions. It correlates "slang tsunamis" (rapid negative-valence slang spikes crossing borders) with Kalshi prediction market odds on diplomatic events, delivering:
