Skywalker was born from the urgent need to streamline decision-making in modern warfare, where commanders are inundated with a torrent of data, including JWICS/SIPR and OSINT. Recognizing this new front in informationalized warfare, the team aimed to create a solution that harnesses the power of AI to distill vast amounts of real-time information into actionable insights, enabling swift and informed decisions on the battlefield.
What it does
Skywalker is a strategic decision support platform that integrates real-time satellite imagery, drone footage, and text-based intelligence reports. It empowers military commanders to define personalized Areas of Operations, objectives, and tactical intentions, providing optimized routes aligned with the mission set. By enhancing situational awareness and streamlining the decision-making process, Skywalker equips military leaders with the tools to navigate complex environments effectively, ensuring mission success.
How we built it
Skywalker was built on a robust technical architecture that includes data ingestion, real-time processing, and a dynamic user interface. Advanced Geographic Information System (GIS) technology was utilized for detailed mapping, while AI algorithms were employed for optimizing routes based on tactical objectives. The platform was developed through a collaborative effort, combining expertise in military strategy, data science, and software engineering.

We plan to utilize our synthesized data to develop predictive models, enabling proactive decision-making.
