What it does
This projects allows for user monitored and controled navigation and location of a drone in a indoor enviroment.
How we built it
We buit it using the Open.Cv python library and Node.js
Challenges we ran into
Open.Cv is not that well docummented, so that proved to be a difficulty. We also were developing for the first time on the drone. Having to create our own system to track location proved a challenge since we could not use GPS.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Getting the drone to move to a desired location was great!
What's next for Skynét
We plan on smoothing the communication process and possibly using Bluetooth pings instead of landmarks.
