What it does

Skyland is an AI-powered fantasy short film that takes you on a breathtaking journey with Aeryn Solveth and his loyal flying fish. From soaring above the futuristic city of Cybryne to returning to his homeland of Eryndor, Aeryn’s adventure is filled with wonder, imagination, and magical encounters. Skyland isn’t just a story. it’s a cinematic exploration of a world where skies are alive and every horizon promises something new.

How we built it

We started by crafting the script and storyboard inside Adobe Firefly Board, shaping the narrative flow and key visual directions. The base image was created in MidJourney v7, then further developed and refined using Nano Banana Gemini Flash 2.5 in Adobe Firefly. Several images went through a refinement process in Adobe Photoshop to finalize the look before moving into video generation. Once the visuals were ready, we brought them to life in Adobe Firefly Board, generating motion and cinematic sequences directly from the base image. The video sequences were enhanced and rendered using Luma Ray 3 in Adobe Firefly, ensuring smooth dynamic motion and a cinematic feel. Editing was completed in CapCut, while sound effects and voice-over were produced using ElevenLabs to bring immersive audio to the final cut.
