Inspiration
My inspiration behind SkyHop Adventures lies in my love for parkour and classic favorites like Crash Bandicoot and Spyro The Dragon.
What it does
You run, bounce, and navigate obstacles all in three different biomes. You also collect coins and apples for leaderboards.
How we built it
I built it with the idea of wanting to make a 3Dimensional Platformer with a mix of Parkour, learning new scripts and converting old ones, and type scripts as well as level design by myself.
Challenges we ran into
Learning the code for the looks and interactions & camera angles for in the game, combined with being a completely newbie that's only familiar with scripting, and 100% Novice when it comes to Blender.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud of learning some new script functions and UI Designing for my game, as well as learning blender from the beginning and making this game within 15 days. I will keep updating it the more I learn!
What we learned
Different kinds of scripting, UVMapping, Model Importing, Lighting, Leaderboards, Level Design, and Innovation with things I already have had.
What's next for SkyHop Adventures
SkyHop is just the start. I want to create a fun realm where you get to travel between all of these environments one by one with cross world achievements and also In World Purchases!
