Skydiving Club Escondido NFT on the XRPL

Inspiration

Three months ago, I had an exhilarating skydiving experience in Puerto Escondido. Meeting my skydiving instructor again recently, we brainstormed the idea of an NFT redeemable for a Skydiving experience in Puerto Escondido.

What It Does

This NFT is not just a token, it's a ticket to an unforgettable skydiving experience in Puerto Escondido. What's more, it comes with a 50% discount for a repeat jump within a year if a deposit of 100 pesos is made. To make it truly unique, a personalized skydiving experience video is attached to the NFT.

How We Are Going to Build it

We are planning on leveraging the Typescript/Python SDKs of XRPL along with the proposed XRPL hooks to build our business logic.

Challenges We Ran Into

Gaining support from the Skydiving Club in Puerto Escondido will be a challenge. However, we are optimistic and plan to expand to Dubai as well.

Accomplishments That We're Proud Of

We are proud to pioneer the first NFT redeemable for a Skydiving experience, to the best of our knowledge.

What We Learned

Starting small and scaling up once proof of concept is established is a practical and efficient approach to project development.

What's Next for Skydiving Club Escondido NFT

We are hopeful that our first holders of our NFTs will redeem them for a Skydiving experience after the hackathon.
