SKYCAST is a simple and fast weather forecasting website built for users in Nigeria, especially in cities like Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt. The website provides current weather conditions, hourly forecast for the next 24 hours, and a 7-day daily forecast. It supports automatic location detection and manual city search. The design is mobile-friendly, lightweight, and works well even on slower internet connections. This project is developed using HTML, Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript, with weather data powered by the free Open-Meteo API. No AI features or backend server are used, making it easy to build, maintain, and host for free. The main goal is to deliver accurate and reliable weather information in a clean, user-friendly interface.
