Climate change has been a looming issue which enables haphazard effects like reduced agricultural yields to transpire. This aspect emboldened our team to produce a webpage that addressed this issue in conjunction with the mitigating conditions of the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV).

What it does

Sky’s The Limit tackles the pervasiveness of climate change by offering users the ability to buy plant based produce, while engaging in eco-friendly activities like social distancing cleanups. Additionally, our unique star points system grants discounts in our marketplace where companies can advertise services, products and discounts, acting as an incentive for users to be environmentally aware about their daily choices.

How I built it

The project was assembled through Figma which acted as a template for coding. Coding pertaining to Sky’s The Limit was conducted in Programs like c plus plus and JavaScript, were used. Cascading Style Sheets (C.S.S.) was also an integral program.

Challenges I ran into

Encountering a back end developer was a taxing task. This is because we needed an individual who was experienced enough to complete the coding process.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Creating a cohesive unit of four members was a challenge which was inevitably accomplished.

What I learned

I learned that the C.S.S. is an essential tool towards creating a website users can traverse.

What's next for Sky's The Limit

Converting our project into a startup will be the next step towards helping the environment.
