Inspiration
The inspiration behind the Criminal Alert Notification App stemmed from a deep-seated commitment to fostering safer communities and empowering individuals to take an active role in crime prevention. As members of our own neighborhoods, we often witness suspicious activities but lack efficient channels to report them. This gap inspired us to harness the power of technology to create a solution that enables seamless incident reporting and collaboration among community members and law enforcement agencies.

Criminal Alert Notification App does:
Incident Reporting: The app allows users to report suspicious activities or incidents they witness in their neighborhoods. Users can provide details such as location, time, description of the incident, and attach images if available.

How we built it
The foundation of our project lies in Amazon Bedrock technology, which provided us with a robust framework for building scalable and secure applications. Our team collaborated closely with law enforcement professionals to understand their needs and tailor our solution to complement existing crime prevention efforts.
The development process involved feedback collection, and refinement to ensure that the app meets the highest standards of performance and reliability. From designing the user interface to fine-tuning the AI algorithms, every aspect of the project was meticulously crafted to deliver maximum impact and usability.
Challenges we ran into
The challenges we faced are coming up with this idea, editing widgets, fine tuning it, feedback collection, editing prompt responses, and resizing the widgets to make them user friendly.
