Inspiration
We found out about this contest right after Christmas holidays and as the task was so challenging, we decided to try. Not for winning a prize, but for gaining a new experience and testing our skills.
So far, we have successfully developed a number of Flutter Web projects, and now we’re still on our way to improve them. But right after we had finished the last Flutter Web project, the team broke up and this contest became a chance for us to gather up once again.
We find Inspiration in each other, in fascinating puzzle-tasks and in the process, which we really enjoy.

Semantics compatibility
Web, Android, iOS, MacOS, Windows and Linux support
How we built it
As any other hackathon - with sleepless nights full of wine energetiks beer tea.
But in reality, there were some challenging experiences too. After we reunited, we switched our roles! Chris B. was a Middle Developer and became a Team leader, Daria D. was a Junior Developer and became an Animation Designer, Maxim R. was a Senior Developer and became an Architect and Artem S. was a Team leader and became a Middle Developer. And there was some Project Manager in the kitchen, Rudolf Z. We made him a Sound Designer.
After that, we created a project on GitHub, some trello board, a figma project and added everyday meetings to the calendar.
Challenges we ran into/faced to
All of us are just Developers, but the contest presumes some beautiful design, and this was a number one challenge - to create a wonderful design. We think it was a common design creation process. We started with a concept, then moved it to Figma, and in the end we got some results.
Firstly, we challenged ourselves to create a neomorphic interface. But right after the first tests we switched to glass morphism, because honestly it looks cooler.
Adaptive design was the other challenge for us. Our current project doesn't have one or uses only the mobile part of it. Despite the fact we had a little experience in building adaptive layout, we managed to do that! Huge thanks to the The Flutter Hackathon team! The educational videos were really helpful.
Accomplishments that we’re proud of
Adaptive design, it looks good everywhere
Bird observed your cursor
Glass animation
Audio effects
Custom user image and crop for it
Complex custom step animations
What we learned
Complex custom step animations
Deep dive into adaptive design
Semantics compatibility
Flutter is awesome!!!
What’s next for Skolo Slide Hack
We want to use our new experience in real projects. Especially adaptive design for the web.
We are thinking about publishing our game in Google Play and App Store.
We have already contributed some improvements to different communities and organizations, for instance, libraries. We would be really happy to share Flutter Engine someday.
