Skippership

Inspiration

Teams often guess why users drop off or struggle on a site. I wanted to build a way to see the real behavior instead of relying on assumptions.

What it does

Skippership shows exactly what users do on your website. You can watch session recordings, check heatmaps to see where people click or scroll, and understand what they notice, ignore, or struggle with.

How I built it

I combined web technologies like React, PHP, and MySQL with a server that collects user behavior data. Then I created a clean dashboard so teams can easily analyze everything.

Challenges I ran into

• Handling large amounts of data without slowing websites down
  
• Keeping the dashboard simple instead of cluttered
  
• Showing user behavior in a way that feels helpful, not invasive
  

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Building something that helps teams make design decisions based on real data, not guesses. Early tests showed that even small changes made with Skippership significantly boosted conversions.

What I learned

Watching real user behavior is way more valuable than any guess or theory on paper.

What's next for Skippership

Adding more AI features to automatically highlight issues, improving collaboration tools for teams, and expanding integrations with other platforms.
