Class attendance directly affects students’ academic performances. Despite its well known effects and frequent emphasis, not a lot of systems that actually account for this. Unless the class requires attendance for participation grade.
However, skipping class isn’t an issue of the lack of support systems. The real issue is that the effects are rather “invisible.”
We wanted to visualize it to the students to raise awareness and indirectly improve academic performances.
