The process of filling out forms for hackathon competitions can often be overwhelming and time-consuming. For me, the most challenging part has been having to fill out every section of a form before it can be saved, making it difficult to manage my time and stay focused on the project itself. This has led to me feeling unmotivated and has made me procrastinate on filling out forms, which can ultimately impact the outcome of the competition.

I have come to realize that filling out forms is just as crucial as developing the project itself, as it is where we can communicate the value and impact of our solution to judges and potential collaborators. However, it can be challenging to find a balance between focusing on the project and the time required to fill out the forms. As such, I believe that adding a skip button and a progress tracker to the form-filling process would be a valuable addition. This would allow participants to skip certain sections that they may not have time to fill out at the moment and return to them later, making the process more manageable.

To further streamline the process, it would be beneficial to have reminders that prompt participants to fill out the forms and track their progress. Having this feature would help ensure that participants stay on track and do not forget to fill out important sections of the form. Additionally, incorporating a progress percentage would be an excellent way to monitor how much of the form has been filled out, which can be motivating and encouraging for participants.

By implementing these features, the form-filling process would be more efficient, allowing participants to focus on the development of their project. This, in turn, can lead to better outcomes, as participants can focus more on building their solution rather than being bogged down by the form-filling process. Overall, the implementation of skip buttons, progress trackers, reminders, and progress percentages would create a more streamlined and positive experience for participants, ultimately leading to a more productive and successful hackathon competition.
