Inspiration

Skincare is often confusing, expensive, and driven by guesswork. With countless products available, people struggle to understand their skin concerns and choose products that genuinely suit their needs. We wanted to make skincare more personalized, accessible, and affordable using AI.

What it does

SkinWise AI transforms skin analysis into personalized skincare decisions. It analyzes skin concerns using AI, generates customized AM/PM routines, and recommends suitable products based on skin type, skincare goals, and budget. Its intelligent product discovery and price comparison help users find suitable products at the best available prices.

How we built it

We built SkinWise AI using React and TypeScript for the frontend and Node.js with Express for the backend. We integrated the YouCam AI Skin Analysis API to identify skin concerns and generate insights. These insights power personalized skincare routines and product recommendations, supported by product catalog discovery, budget-based filtering, and price comparison.
