Skincare can be confusing, overwhelming, and expensive. People often struggle to understand their skin type, identify their concerns, and choose products that actually suit them. Generic skincare advice doesn't work for everyone because every individual's skin is different. We wanted to bridge this gap using AI and create a smarter, more accessible, and personalized skincare experience.
What it does
SkinVeda.ai is an AI-powered personalized skincare platform that helps users better understand and care for their skin. It aims to provide intelligent skincare assistance through personalized insights, tailored skincare recommendations, and an interactive experience. Our goal is to make skincare more accessible, informed, and convenient for everyone.
How we built it
We built SkinVeda.ai using modern web technologies and AI-powered capabilities. We focused on creating an intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly interface while integrating intelligent features to deliver a personalized skincare experience. Our development approach combined frontend design, backend functionality, and AI integration to bring the platform together.
Challenges we ran into
One of our major challenges was designing a personalized experience while keeping the platform simple and intuitive. We also faced challenges in integrating AI capabilities into the application, maintaining a smooth user experience, and balancing functionality with the limited time available during the hackathon.

We are proud to have transformed our idea into a functional AI-powered skincare platform. Building SkinVeda.ai allowed us to combine creativity, technology, and problem-solving to address a real-world problem. We are especially proud of creating a solution focused on personalization and accessibility in skincare.
What we learned
We learned how to approach real-world problems from a user-centric perspective, integrate AI into a practical application, collaborate effectively as a team, and make important technical decisions under time constraints. The hackathon also helped us strengthen our development and rapid prototyping skills.
