Inspiration

My inspiration for this project was my own skin, which had problems with blemishes; however, it took me a long time before I could find a product that was right for my skin. I though that this could be a fun project that could help others with the same problem.

What it does

Skinn is an easy mobile app that assesses your skin concerns and recommends you a few products to try out! Skinn has a quick quiz that determines what the user's concerns, skin type, and product preferences are, and gives them a few skincare items to try out.

How I built it

I built it through Code.org.

Challenges I ran into

I had a lack of time, but I'm glad that I could create a app that I'm proud of even with those limitations.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm proud of the color palette, and that I was able to make it as aesthetically pleasing to the user as possible. I was also able to learn a lot about skincare through this project.

What I learned

I learned how to create a quiz on Code.org.

What's next for Skinn

What's next for Skinn is a wider variety of options and items to choose from, and more in depth questions so that we can get into the root of the user's skin problems, and provide them with the best recommendations. I'd also want to try out a scanner through a photo.
