Inspiration
Skin cancer and related skin disease are an underground killer, with over 300k people dying per year as a result. The worse bit is, its one of the most avoidable cancers.
What it does
We built an app where anyone can screen themselves for skin cancer risk, while also allowing users to scan there skin actively for any diseases or cancer.
How we built it
We used a React + Express stack, with the backend interfacing with a bespoke AI agent, mobilenet, for analysing skin conditions.
Challenges we ran into
Getting accurate results was difficult, and ensuring results arent misleading was tough.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Since our AI helps with analysis, we allow dermatologists to access more refined and specific data, useful for specific patients. Were proud of our use of the blockchain to encrypt images on the cloud, ensuring user data is completely secure. We also use google OAuth for easy log-ins. We also designed the app to scale well vertically, ensuring we can match growth in users.

We hope to expand into physical products, like skin sensors, that we will tie into our existing app as an ecosystem.
