Inspiration

Skincare is often based on guesswork. People use products for weeks without knowing whether their skin is actually improving.

We wanted to change that by making skincare progress measurable and visible.

What We Built

Skin Journey is a skin progress platform powered by the YouCam Skin Analysis API.

Users can:

• Analyze their skin
• Track skin metrics over time
• Compare scans with an interactive Before/After view
• Get AI-generated insights
• Generate a detailed skin report

Every score comes from actual analysis data or user input. We don't simulate results.

Challenges & Learning

The biggest challenge was turning raw skin-analysis data into something meaningful and easy to understand while maintaining accurate historical comparisons.

We learned how to integrate real-world skin analysis APIs, build longitudinal tracking, and use AI to explain structured data without replacing the underlying measurements.
