Challenges we ran into
Getting real-time and tailoring advice for different skin types was tricky, especially since it was our first time making AI. It took a lot of trial and error, and we also focused on making sure the app works smoothly on all devices.

We're proud to have developed a practical tool that can significantly enhance daily skin protection. SkinGuard's ability to provide real-time, personalized sun safety tips is a major achievement for us.

What's next for Skin Guard
Next, we plan to add a logging feature where users can track their skin's condition over time. This will allow us to use AI to monitor if treatments for conditions like melanoma are effective, helping users manage their skin health more proactively.
