Inspiration: Our inspiration for this project came from the increasing number of skin-related problems and the lack of quick medical diagnosis in many areas. We wanted to create an AI-based solution that can help people detect skin diseases easily and quickly. What it does: The project detects possible skin diseases using Artificial Intelligence by analyzing images of affected skin areas. It helps users get an early prediction of skin conditions and provides faster assistance for better healthcare awareness. How we built it: We built this project using Machine Learning and Image Processing techniques. We trained the AI model with skin disease datasets and developed a user-friendly interface where users can upload images for prediction. Challenges we ran into: One of the major challenges was finding accurate and balanced datasets for training the model. We also faced difficulties in improving prediction accuracy and handling different image qualities and lighting conditions. Accomplishments that we're proud of We are proud that we successfully developed a working AI model capable of identifying skin diseases with good accuracy. We also created a simple and easy-to-use system that can help users in early detection. What we learned: Through this project, we learned about Machine Learning, AI model training, image processing, dataset handling, and teamwork. We also gained experience in solving real-world healthcare problems using technology.
