Inspiration

The inspiration for this project came from modern resumes and portfolios where devs have to go through multiple platforms to showcase their skills and achievements which is frustrating.

What it does

It gathers the user data from GitHub, and Leetcode and allows them to add their own customization for Developer profiles like Resume.

How we built it

I have built this project with Nextjs14 and MongoDB along with GitHub and Leetcode API.

Challenges we ran into

There are platforms like LinkedIn which doesn't allow direct access to their data and user security like fetching data from their GitHub with their GitHub authorization is a concern for users.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I have successfully built it and gathered almost 10 users within a day.

What we learned

I have learned a lot and it gives me the confidence to build my products for the future.

What's next for Skillsync

I would like to make it open source and let the community build the best out of it.
