Inspiration
☆ SkillSync AI is an intelligent career companion that turns confusion into clarity by generating personalized roadmaps, tracking progress, and guiding users to become job ready through AI driven mentorship.
What it does
☆ It creates a personalized learning roadmap, tracks your skills and progress, suggests projects to build, and gives AI guidance on what to learn next all in one place. 👉 Simple: It tells you what to learn, how to learn, and when you’re ready for a job.
How we built it
☆ Built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON, SkillSync AI dynamically generates personalized career roadmaps, tracks progress with gamification (XP, badges), and provides AI driven guidance to help users become job ready.
Challenges we ran into
☆ Designing accurate personalized roadmaps without a backend, managing real time state for progress tracking and gamification, and creating a responsive, smooth UI with complex features like skill graphs and AI chat were key challenges we overcame.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
☆ We successfully built a complete, AI powered career guidance system from scratch, combining personalized roadmaps, gamification, real time progress tracking, and smart recommendations all in a single, fully responsive web app without any backend.
What we learned
☆ We learned how to design a complete user-focused system, manage complex state and logic in JavaScript, build scalable UI components, and create meaningful AI driven experiences that deliver real value.
What's next for SkillSync AI
☆ Next, we plan to integrate real AI APIs for smarter personalization, add user authentication and cloud sync, include real time job and course recommendations, and evolve SkillSync AI into a full scale career platform accessible to learners worldwide.
