Inspiration
Many students want to learn new skills but cannot afford paid courses, while others already have valuable skills to share. We wanted to create a platform where students can help each other learn without money.
What it does
SkillSwap is a peer-to-peer student learning exchange platform where users post the skills they know and the skills they want to learn. The system connects students with matching interests so they can exchange knowledge and collaborate.
How we built it
We designed a simple and user-friendly web interface for students to create profiles, post skills, and find matches. The platform focuses on community-driven learning and productivity for students.
Challenges
The main challenges were designing the matching logic, creating an intuitive UI, and ensuring the platform is easy for beginners to use.
What we learned
We learned about web development, user experience design, and building real-world student-focused applications. This project helped us understand how technology can improve student learning communities.
