SkillSwap is a blockchain-powered freelancing marketplace that eliminates intermediaries Built with Solidity
Inspiration Removing Trust from the freelancing deals to make it more reliable
What it does It lets you post , request and exchange services and the Deals are Done by using smartcontract Both client and provider approves that work is done then the fund is released from smartcontract.
How we built it We build frontend with react Vite and used Firebase as database then Deployed our smartcontract in solidity on sepolia eth testnet
Challenges we ran into integration was a problem for us
Accomplishments that we're proud of Finally making payments through and making it work is the biggest things for us we are absolute beginers in Web3 so it was a difficult task for us
What we learned We learned How to use Firebase , How to interact with Smartcontract we learned etherjs and metamask
What's next for SkillSwap we would love to make the chats better add the account abstraction in it also add achievement Nfts for the service providers and the loyalty Nfts for the service takers
