Inspiration - So, it all started with me and my friends asking each other to teach our native languages to each other and then i thought what if we could do that for almost every skill we've ever learned, teach others, and learn in the process.

What it does

SkillSwap provides you with a platform to learn and teach things from and to people around, grow as individuals, grow as a society.

How we built it - so, I used create and spline (for the 3d model and environment)

the project uses next.js, built on react and tailwind.

Challenges we ran into - Managing and updating the 3d model was a tedious task. usage of Ai made the process all the more simpler and it was a fun way to learn how to integrate 3d models into websites.

Accomplishments that we're proud of - I am proud about making a big milestone in my journey of learning WebDev. Spline is one new resource i enjoyed learning to make websites look appealing.

What's next for Skill Swap - I want to see Skill Swap grow and become a platform that fosters a sense of community. the idea of learning new skills for free that was dream will now be a reality.
