3D Sensie addresses the growing need for accessible and engaging training solutions that enhance workforce skills through technology. What it does
3D Sensie provides 3D visualizations of each component of complex products, highlighting essential details such as dimensions and materials used. This immersive approach serves as an effective training tool for new employees, allowing them to explore and understand the product in depth. By offering detailed insights into each component, we empower learners to gain a comprehensive knowledge of the product, enhancing their ability to contribute effectively from day one.
How we built it
We developed the project using Unity 3D as our primary development engine, utilizing C# for scripting within the Unity environment. For the front end, we implemented HTML, CSS, and React.js to create a responsive and user-friendly interface. To build realistic environments and scenarios, our team leveraged various assets and plugins from the Unity Asset Store. Collaboration tools like GitHub facilitated a streamlined development process, enabling effective version control and enhancing team communication. This cohesive approach allowed us to build an immersive training platform that meets the needs of our users.
Challenges we ran into
One of the primary challenges we encountered was optimizing the 3D models for performance, as high-quality graphics can significantly impact user experience on lower-end devices. We also faced hurdles in designing intuitive user interfaces that accommodate users with varying levels of technical proficiency. Additionally, ensuring that the simulations accurately reflected real-world scenarios required extensive research and rigorous testing. Overcoming these challenges was essential to creating a seamless and effective training platform.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We built the Beta version of our SAAS product required within the hackathon's timeframe, showcasing several training scenarios across different roles. Our team's collaboration was a highlight, as we leveraged individual strengths to enhance the project.

Exploring the diverse applications of our 3D training platform has revealed its potential across various sectors. In manufacturing and healthcare, 3D visualizations enhance understanding and skills training, while in retail, virtual showrooms improve customer engagement.
