Inspiration

We were inspired to make this project due to our challenges of having a proper format to study for tests and assignments leading to confusion over certain topics and higher chances of procrastination while studying.

What it does

SkillSage provides flashcards, quizzes and comprehensive study guides by only asking for one file, be it a slideshow, a pdf of course content or a picture of the blackboard in a jpg format. Using Groq AI, SkillSage can provide detailed information to ensure students' performance is improved.

How we built it

We used React for the main website along with Express and node js in the backend.

Challenges we ran into

The AI originally didn't connect with the frontend, causing multiple errors.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to make a creative frontend and implement AI in the backend securely.

What we learned

We learned that debugging is very important for ensuring that all possible conditions are met when experiencing the site.

What's next for SkillSage

The next step would be to host the website on a service such as Render.
