Inspiration

It initially started because a group member of ours wanted to learn piano. A friend of his introduced him to a third party that knew how to play piano, but also wanted to learn how to code. They then traded their skills, teaching each other and becoming friends during the process.

Our project links people together based on their skills and desired skills

How we built it

NextJS, Rust

Challenges we ran into

A lot. Authentication was really hard, communicating with rust was troublesome, NextJS was problematic at times. Overall the biggest problem was communicating between back end and front end.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we managed to make a coherent project despite setbacks of communication between front end and back end.

What we learned

Shared knowledge of Rust, Axios, and NextJS. UI design was new to us. For past projects we were much less concerned with how the project looked because we were convinced that our functionality was more important. Unfortunately, that is often not the case.
