Inspiration
Many students struggle to find the right skills, learning resources, projects, and career opportunities. We wanted to create one simple platform that helps students discover what to learn and how to move toward their career goals.
What We Built
SkillBridge is a student-focused platform that provides career paths, personalized learning roadmaps, free learning resources, and student opportunities such as internships, hackathons, and competitions.
How We Built It
We built SkillBridge using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We created an interactive career-path section and a personalized recommendation feature based on the user's goal and current skill level. The project is hosted using GitHub Pages.
What We Learned
We learned how to identify a real-world student problem, design a user-friendly solution, create interactive web features, and deploy a project online.
Challenges
Our main challenge was keeping the platform simple while making it useful for students with different goals and skill levels. We solved this by organizing the platform into career paths, personalized roadmaps, resources, and opportunities.
Future Scope
We plan to add AI-powered recommendations, skill assessments, user accounts, personalized progress tracking, and regularly updated internship and hackathon opportunities.
