Inspiration

Bridging the gap between learners and the right mentorship or resources. SkillBridge was built to provide an intelligent, personalized, and accessible learning guide for everyone.

What it does

Personalized Roadmaps: Generates step-by-step learning paths tailored to user goals. 24/7 AI Assistant: Answers questions, explains concepts, and provides instant guidance. Progress Tracking: Helps users monitor their growth with an interactive dashboard.

How we built it

Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript Backend: Python (app.py / Flask) AI Engine: Groq API (llama-3.3-70b-versatile model) for ultra-fast responses Platform: Developed and deployed using Replit

Challenges we ran into

Configuring API integration and choosing the right LLM provider. Handling environment variables (.env and Secrets) safely to prevent leaking API keys.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Building a fully functional AI-powered web app within the hackathon timeframe. Achieving near-instant response times using Groq's high-speed inference.

What we learned

Secure API key management in modern web apps. Rapid prototyping and full-stack integration using Replit.

What's next for SkillBridge

Adding peer-to-peer mentorship and community features. Introducing gamification (badges, streaks, and leaderboards). Multi-language support for global learners.
