Skilled work is more than copying an expert’s motion. SKILL TRANSLATOR aims to reveal relationships and decisions behind a demonstration so a learner can adapt them to a different workpiece and situation.
The current Task Space Lab is a local browser workbench. Users retain photos or video frames, calibrate planar geometry, annotate landmarks, compare explicit interpretations, and challenge a proposed relationship with new observations. A differently sized sheet can expose whether a mark represents proportional placement or fixed edge clearance. Decision practice preserves an initial learner judgment before revealing an authored source account.
Node.js and browser JavaScript keep original pixels and portable evidence local. Initial bookbinding examples are authored geometry; positional agreement does not establish skill acquisition or safe physical technique.
A direct requestReadings call to NVIDIA Nemotron via Nebius returned three structurally valid readings. The UI path was not verified. Automatic object-state interpretation, expert correction, and independent learner benefit remain unqualified.
