The 'SKILL IT' app was inspired by the growing skills gap faced by engineering students, leading to unemployment. I aimed to create an AI-driven tool providing personalized career guidance to help students align their skills with industry demands.
Throughout the project, I learned about the Random Forest algorithm for recommendation systems and integrating real-time data via Firebase. The biggest challenge was balancing personalization with system performance, especially in generating career suggestions efficiently. Overcoming these obstacles, I built a solution that offers precise career advice and real-time job market insights.
