Inspiration

Middle east disruption required us to do in hours activities that usually take weeks. Our staff struggled to use our suite of expensive AI products, because the shape of the tasks is never a perfect fit for the tool's happy paths, and everything is always too urgent for a solution with a learning curve.

What it does

Takes a task - that can be performed with links to the existing tools and local files - and closes the gap that stops you from doing it with your existing AI-powered software tools

How we built it

We used Codex to build a skill for Claude Desktop and an MCP server that enabled Claude to interact with the existing tools, while accumulating context about interacting with the tools and their capabilities.

Challenges we ran into

  • We asked users why they weren't using AI and they listed core challenges of their tasks rather than AI limitations
  • Granting AI access to ERPs and databases is still scary and dangerous

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Claude was able to solve our test use-cases, we had to look for more

What we learned

Wow moments are elusive, even when the product works as intended
