Skill Issue

Inspiration

We believe that learning to learn is an important skill to have.

What it does

Skill Issue allows users to be able to sort and filter through courses that are relevant to them through the use of JavaScript functions embedded into hashtags.

As developers, it allows us to easily add/remove individual course/certification cards instead of hard-coding each individual card.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge was building the sort feature through the use of JavaScript.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

As first-time hackathon participants, we are proud of the functions and designs we have included on the website.

What we learned

We were able to learn more about JavaScript and how to apply sorting to our functionality.

What's next for Skill Issue

We plan on integrating more courses/certifications in fields outside of computing.
