Inspiration

Skill gaps are increasing everywhere — students want to learn real skills, but don’t know where to start. At the same time, many talented individuals are eager to teach but don’t have a platform to share their knowledge. This inspired us to build Skill-Bridge, a simple and accessible platform where anyone can learn a skill or teach a skill, creating a continuous cycle of growth.

What it does

Skill-Bridge is a platform that connects Skill Seekers with Skill Mentors. Users can:

Browse available skills

Learn a new skill through mentorship

Offer to teach a skill they are good at

View details, descriptions, and requirements for each skill

Submit forms to join as a learner or mentor

Get fast access through a clean, mobile-friendly UI

It acts as a bridge between people who want to grow and those who can guide.

How we built it

We built the full application using Base44 AI App Builder. Steps included:

1. Designing the user flow (Home → Learn Skill → Teach Skill → Details → Forms)

2. Generating the app screens using AI prompts

3. Editing UI to make it simple and intuitive

4. Publishing the app to get a live link

5. Creating a landing page with screenshots and a CTA button

6. Connecting the landing page to the app for smooth navigation

Everything was built end-to-end without code, using clear design logic and AI-powered tools.
