Inspiration

We were inspired by our desire to stop my brain from rotting

What it does

You awaken inside Skibidi Hellhouse, a cursed mansion filled with brainrot NPCs. Scattered memos provide cryptic hints about the escape key shards, but they are written in - you guessed it- brainrot. Along the way, you’ll encounter 4 brainrot NPCs—Baby Oil, Hawk Tuah Girl, KSI and Skibidi Toilet—who will do everything in their power to fry your brain and trap you forever. Your goal is to explore rooms to find scattered iPad memos and decode them to figure out the location of the escape key while avoiding brainrot NPCs that attack and drain your sanity.

How we built it

We built the game in Unity in less than 3 days and used Nosu.io to help with the brainrot translation. Both members of our team - me (My) (girl) and Kerod have been to less than 5 hackathons. I wanted to do a girly project at first but I've been dying to make a horror game xD
