๐ Tipsy Turvy โ The Ultimate AI Party Game
Built solo by me with Bolt.new at A57WEBDESIGN.

Tipsy Turvy is a fast-paced, chaos-fueled AI-powered party game full of trivia, dares, and ridiculous challenges. Whether you're hosting a cozy family game night or a wild hangout with friends, Tipsy Turvy keeps the energy high, the laughs flowing, and the surprises constant.
Itโs designed for all ages and works instantly โ no logins, no downloads, no stress.
๐ Inspiration
Games like Jackbox, Drawful, and classic Truth or Dare always brought people together โ but I wanted something simpler, snappier, and pass-the-phone easy. Something nostalgic and cozy but with a modern AI twist.
Tipsy Turvy was born out of that vision โ built solo by me using Bolt, under my company A57WEBDESIGN.

๐งฉ Challenges I Faced
This game tried hard not to get made.
At one point, the whole app corrupted itself โ Bolt literally moved my game logic into the wrong file. Revert failed. Edits wouldnโt save. Credits evaporated. I burned through 70 million credits trying to fix it.
I tried saving the project by cloning an older version. That helped a little, but the audio broke, the visuals lost charm, and none of my challenges were loading right.
Eventually, I was ready to submit an old version that didnโt even use Supabase. It was buggy, but it worked. Then โ out of nowhere โ a newer forked version just started functioning. Buttons worked. Music came back. Supabase loaded.
I locked it in immediately. Didnโt touch the backend again. Magic.
๐ Lessons Learned
- Supabase was intimidating, then became easy
- Bolt is powerful but unpredictable โ back up constantly
- ElevenLabs is super smooth, but super expensive โ which is why Iโll need in-app purchases soon
- You donโt need a team to make something memorable
- Rebuilding from scratch is sometimes the fastest way to move forward
- Bolt might be fun for full website projects too
