SKCET MediCare was born from the idea that healthcare systems should be easier to navigate, for both patients and hospitals. Our goal was to create a seamless, integrated experience that simplifies every step of the healthcare journey—from appointments to medication delivery and even insurance claims.

For Patients: You can book appointments, order medications from your local pharmacy, and access your medical records—all in a few clicks. Plus, insurance claims are no longer a hassle—track and file them with ease! For Doctors: It streamlines patient management with telemedicine, e-prescriptions, and AI-powered health insights to support treatment decisions. For Hospitals: The platform offers real-time ambulance tracking, efficient billing, and integrated insurance claim management, making operations smoother and cutting costs. For Pharmacies: Boosts medication orders directly through the app, expanding business opportunities.

How we built it

Our platform is powered by cutting-edge technologies:

Backend: Python and PHP for robust backend processes. Frontend: HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks for a sleek, user-friendly interface. Cloud: Hosted on Microsoft Azure for security, scalability, and reliability. AI Integration: Built-in AI systems provide personalized health and diet recommendations, improving patient care. Challenges we ran into Merging so many diverse healthcare functions into one platform was no easy feat! From real-time ambulance tracking to seamless pharmacy integration, each feature had to work flawlessly without compromising on data security. Integrating insurance claim management with various providers was another challenge, ensuring everything stayed efficient and transparent for users.
