Watching my parents work late nights at their animal hospital inspired me to build SkadApp. I saw them spending hours wrestling with paper forms and typing up notes when they should have been heading home or focusing on their patients. I wanted to create something that actually makes their lives easier.
The Problem Most vet clinics still rely on clipboards and paper forms. This creates a "double-work" cycle: a pet owner writes information down, and then a staff member has to manually type that same information into a computer later. It’s slow, prone to mistakes, and takes time away from medical care.
The Solution SkadApp digitizes the entire process from the moment a pet walks through the door:
Simple Check-In: Owners check in on a tablet, and the info instantly syncs to the vet's dashboard—no paper required.
Smart Summaries: The app listens to the appointment and automatically drafts the medical "SOAP" notes (the standard format vets use). What used to take 20 minutes of typing now happens in seconds.
Better Organization: Instead of digging through folders, the staff has a clear, digital view of exactly which dog needs what, and when.
The Impact By cutting out the "paperwork tax," we save veterinarians hours every single day. The goal of SkadApp is simple: less time behind a screen, and more time with the animals.
