Being in a team with THE KCL SPIDERMAN

What it does

Using an ultrasonic sensor to detect approaching objects (sense danger) and then activates and extends the robotic spider legs.

How we built it

Stripper a printer for a powerful motor to use to pull a string which controlled the contraction of all the robotic legs.

Challenges we ran into

Supplying power through the arduino to the printer motor with limited battery supply as well as ensuring all the 3D printed parts fit together. Lastly maintaining tension throughout all the legs.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Building cool robotic spider legs.
