Inspiration When I was attending HackDuke, I saw many LEDs available and decided to play with them.

How it works With certain letters correspond to a specific note, the way to play a six hole flute can be demonstrated by six lined-up LEDs. Lights turned on refer to covering the hole with finger; lights turned off refer to leaving the hole open; and lights blinking for three times refer to covering half the hole with finger. Thus, teachers can show how to play this instrument in an interesting way.

Challenges I ran into This is my first time writing Arduino codes, so there are a lot of debugging things to do.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of Although it looks easy, I did take my first step to participate in the Novice competition.

What I learned How to write Arduino codes and how to connect the hardwares.

What's next for sixholeflute Make it display the LEDs by input a track of music.
