SiteScope

SiteScope is a WebMCP-powered website audit and migration assistant for humans and AI agents.

Before redesigning or migrating a website, teams need to understand what is actually live: public URLs, broken internal links, metadata that must be preserved, and migration risks that can damage SEO or user journeys. That work is usually fragmented across browser checks, crawlers, spreadsheets, and hand-written migration notes.

SiteScope turns that reconnaissance workflow into a shared human-agent workspace.

Why WebMCP is a strong fit

A migration audit is naturally tool-oriented. The useful actions are concrete, bounded, and structured: inspect a page, discover public URLs, check broken links, and produce a migration baseline. WebMCP lets SiteScope expose those exact capabilities directly from the live website, so an agent does not need to guess through the UI or rely on a separate custom API integration.

SiteScope registers five native WebMCP tools: inspect_page, scan_site, list_pages, find_broken_links, and create_migration_plan.

The same capabilities are available to a person through the SiteScope interface.

Better human + agent UX

A person can keep SiteScope open and see what the agent is doing in real time. The live WebMCP activity panel reflects the actual native tool calls as they run, including the target URL, tool state, and concise results.

That makes the agent's work inspectable instead of invisible.

WebMCP implementation

SiteScope uses imperative WebMCP registration through document.modelContext.registerTool(...) in the client application. Each tool has an explicit schema and executes the same underlying SiteScope functions used by the product.

Safety and bounded execution

SiteScope rejects private/local network targets, revalidates redirects, bounds response sizes and sitemap traversal, uses bounded concurrency, treats fetched content as untrusted, and never modifies the inspected website. Migration planning is deterministic rather than LLM-generated.

Reproducible demo

The demo target is https://sitescope-demo-target.vercel.app. It intentionally contains four sitemap pages, one 404, and several metadata/indexing issues so judges can verify the workflow deterministically.
