Inspiration
Managing project budgets, expenses, worker costs, and profitability can become difficult when information is scattered across different tools or spreadsheets. We wanted to create a simple platform that brings these important financial details together and makes project profitability easier to understand.
What it does
SiteCash AI is a cost and profit management platform for project-based businesses. It lets users manage projects, budgets, expenses, workers, financial reports, and estimated profits from one dashboard.
The AI Advisor provides project summaries and answers questions about budgets, spending, and estimated profit, helping users understand their project data more quickly.
How we built it
We built SiteCash AI as a web application with a dashboard-based interface. The application is organized into modules for Projects, Expenses, Workers, Reports, and AI Advisor.
We focused on making the interface simple and visual so users can quickly understand budgets, costs, remaining budget, and estimated profit.
Challenges we ran into
One challenge was designing a workflow that keeps project financial information easy to understand without overwhelming the user. Another challenge was connecting the project data to useful AI-powered summaries and questions while keeping the experience simple.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to have created an end-to-end project cost and profit management experience with a unified dashboard, project management, expense tracking, worker management, financial reports, and an AI Advisor.
What we learned
We learned how important a clear financial dashboard is for turning project data into useful information. We also learned that AI can make structured project data easier to explore by allowing users to ask questions in a natural way.
What's next for SiteCash AI - Cost & Profit Manager
Next, we plan to improve expense tracking, add more detailed analytics, expand AI-powered recommendations, improve reporting, and add more tools to help businesses monitor project profitability and control costs.
