Inspiration

Ongoing deportation crisis in the US. Families and communities are being split apart, and the loneliness that comes with can be unbearable. This site is here to create communities that let others know they are not alone, especially immigrant women.

What it does

Help immigrant women connect and form a community and restore their foothold after losing their communities due to immigration or deportation, whatever it is that led them to separate from past communities. Its here to show that its not the end, and it never will be.

How we built it

Using Google AI and VS Code (GitHub + Vitereact + HTML5 + CSS + JS + JSX)

We have something that half works!!! Woo

What we learned

I love creating, but programming is harsh... Without AI, the learning curve is pretty insane.
