Inspiration
It is often difficult to follow all the metrics available for a single stock. With an environment that moves as quickly as the stock market I wanted to create an app that will start merging some metrics together all into one place.
What it does
the web app does alot of API calls to collect data as the user inputs what stock they want information they want. Then we execute some calls and output the metrics we have collected as well as providing some of our own metrics based off the data collected from the API calls.
How we built it
using css, html, python, using flask as a framework. Using GitHub for version control, and pycharm for the IDE of choice
Challenges we ran into
how to make a webpage look actually appealing. Getting api calls to work properly.

how to use CSS, html and or any front end development as it is something no one on our team has experience with.
What's next for SIREN: Stock Impact, News, and Environmental Ratings
collecting more data and providing more visually appealing things, such as graphs for stock data, and the ability to compare multiple stocks at once.
