SIR Pandemic modelling

This project models the time evolution of a pandemic on a day-by-day basis. We use an extended SIR model to look at possible outcomes of the propagation of a virus. This project aims to educate about the spread of disease and discuss the possibilities of controlling the spread.

The Algorithm we created models a population of 100,000 people, their day-by-day interactions, and the people that they meet with to model the spread of a COVID-like virus.

This project was written in python, using the Django, Plotly, NumPy libraries.
